| Having owned a PS3 and an Xbox 360, I will say without bias that are great systems and then we must be excited for the competition just for this generation of gaming consoles.
Favorable:
The 40gb Ps3(playstation 3 dualshock controller ) is sold with increased Wireless and Bluetooth range and reliability, and new components that reduce energy by 32.5% of previous models. The heat distinction between this along with models is incredible. This things runs cool for hours.
All PS3(PS3 Move ) models can go to the internet for online gaming, shopping, web-browsing, and perhaps scientific research for Stanford when you aren't playing. It is nice that this PS3's user-base tends to be older also it doesn't contain a headset, which means you avoid getting most of the 9-year-olds playing around screaming during games. As well as the PS3 has better sound features and harddisk space versus entry level xbox 360 console.
Another huge feature is that the PS3 plays hi-definition movies for a format called blu-ray. I merely purchased an HDTV and the picture of Blu-Ray movies is 3D-like and incredible. Games are also played on Blu-Ray discs and some games previously at their maximum on Blu_Ray's massive storage capacity. Basically, as HDTV's you have to be popular, this format will probably become the medium men and women watch new movies on. The games on PS3(
PS3 Jailbreak ) within the very close to future will not likely fit on the DVD discs the xbox uses. Another great thing is usually that the PS3 upscales regular DVD's, which suggests all DVD's, despite what their age is, look OUTSTANDING on my television.
The Bad:
Though the 40gb PS3 isn't getting everything right. As you move the 40gb model plays 100% of PS1 games it can NOT play PS2 games like other models can. But after playing recent PS3 games like Cod 4, I realized I don't want to play my old PS2 games anymore, given that they just cannot can compare to this experience.
