| A heat pump is a kind of air conditionings that regulate the home temperature and humidity. They are such huge home apparatuses that they are less used in normally home. However, they are commonly reserved for the villas, office buildings, high-class hotels and executive apartments. The basic functions of them include heating, cooling, dehumidifying and purifying the indoor air. Typically, a heat pump has a splits system. That means it is made of two parts, an indoor part and an outdoor part.
The principle which a heat pump works on is heat transfer. Just like a fridge transfers heat from its food to the backside coil, a heat pump transfer the heat between indoor air and outside air to keep the indoor air regime steady and comfortable.
But how can it warm the house in winter when it is cold outside or cool down the house in summer when it is hot outside? We can easily understand the natural process that heat flow from a hot place to a correspondingly cold one. In fact, the principle is similar to the fridge freezers. A heat pump can remove enough heat from the cold place to warm the hot one. That’s because there is still a plenty of heat energy in the air which in the low temperature even as 0 °C.
Comparing to other heating equipments, heat pumps have significant advantages on prince and energy consumption. They do not release high-density heat like the fires or electric heaters, as well as stuffiness or toxic gas, so they are safe to the users and environment-friendly. They are also convenient because they can regulate the air conditions all year round and not just in one season.
In a word, it’s good for you to have some knowledge in the heat pump since it is a good choice in home heating and comfort.
